Daily COVID-19 cases reach 2,965

The Department of Health (DOH) Tuesday reported 2,965 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) case, bringing total cases to 197, 164.
Of the new cases, majority came from the National Capital Region (NCR) with 1,575 followed by Negros Occidental 237, Laguna 151, Cavite 129, and Batangas 95.
There were 34 new deaths, raising the aggregate to 3,038 fatalities. The NCR accounted for 22 deaths, the DOH said.
The DOH said 368 persons survived COVID-19, raising total recoveries to 132,396. DMS
