Deaths from typhoon reach at least 74: PNP

The Philippine National Police (PNP) said at least 74 persons are dead due to Typhoon Ompong, with the Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR) accounting for 60 casualities.
In a report Tuesday morning, the PNP said 55 persons remain missing with 52 of them at the CAR.
There were 10 casualties reported at the Cagayan Valley, two in Central Luzon, one each in Ilocos Region and the National Capitol Region, the PNP report said. DMS
