Dela Rosa gets Indonesian award for anti-drug campaign

Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Ronald Dela Rosa reiterated continuing toughness in the campaign against illegal drugs after getting an award from the Indonesian government on Wednesday.
Dela Rosa thanked Indonesian President Joko Widodo and the head of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Police General H. Muhammad Tito Karnavian after receiving the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama or Medal of Honor in Jakarta.
“This will inspire me to exert more effort in our drug war,” Dela Rosa said in a video message posted on Viber.
Dela Rosa said he was told by his Indonesian counterpart he is a rockstar-like inspiration to law enforcers and people of Indonesia.
Dela Rosa and other police officials are scheduled to return to the country Friday. DMS
