DFA expresses condolence to Indonesia after tsunami kills 43

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) expresses its condolences to Indonesia after 43 people were killed by a tsunami that struck Pandeglang, Serang and South Lampung in Indonesia Saturday evening.
The DFA is monitoring the situation as the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta is checking if there are members of the Filipino community affected by the incident.
According to Indonesia's National Disaster Mitigation Agency another 600 people were injured, two missing and 420 houses and nine hotels were heavily damaged by the tsunami reportedly triggered by an underwater landslide caused by the eruption of Krakatau volcano. DMS
