Dino named as DILG undersecretary

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed former Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) chairperson Martin Dino as undersecretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government.

Duterte signed Dino's appointment paper on January 8.

Dino was removed as SBMA chairman when Duterte issued in September last year Executive Order No. 42, making the administrator and chairman of SBMA under one person.

Prior to the EO, Dino acted as the chairman while Wilma Eisma as the administrator.
