DOH reports 1,105 new COVID-19 cases, total now 31,285

The Department of Health ( DOH) announced a record 1,150 new cases of the coronavirus disease ( COVID-19) on Tuesday.
The total number of cases are now at 31,285.
Fresh cases, which are test results released within three days, reached 789, with Central Visayas accounting for 285 and the National Capitol Region, 207.
Late cases, which are test results released four days ago or more, tallied 361, with other regions reporting 219 and NCR, 110.
Recoveries continued to rise, with 299 tallied for a total of 8,442.
There were nine deaths, resulting in a total of 1,186. DMS
