DOH reports 1,118 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health (DOH) reported Tuesday 1,118 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases to raise total cases to 421, 722.
Active cases reached 26, 745 out of which 83.7 percent are mild. Asymptomatic cases accounted for 7.9 percent, followed by critical cases at 5.3 percent, severe cases, 2.8 percent and moderate, 0.25 percent.
Caloocan City, with 89, led provinces and cities which reported the most number of COVID-19 cases. Davao City and Laguna followed with 52, Quezon 47 and Quezon City 46.
Twelve persons died from COVID-19, bringing total deaths to 8,185.
There were 196 persons who bounced back from COVID-19, raising total recoveries to 386, 792. DMS
