DOH reports 140 new cases, raising total to 6,599

The Department of Health ( DOH) reported 140 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday even as the number of recoveries continued to rise.
The total number of COVID-19 cases is now at 6,599. Forty-one patients recovered, raising the tally to 654.
Nine deaths were reported, placing the total to 437. This is the first time in recent weeks that fatalities went down to single digits. DMS
