DOH reports 1,436 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 1,436 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases on Wednesday, which raised total cases to 434, 357.
Active cases are at 26, 916, of which 84.7 percent are mild. Asymptomatic cases account for 7.1 percent, critical 5.2 percent, 2.7 percent severe and 0.29 percent moderate.
Davao City topped the list of cities and provinces with the most number of cases with 142. Laguna was second with 89, Quezon City 80, Manila 63 and Pampanga 58.
Eighteen persons died from COVID-19, placing total fatalities at 8,436.
There were 232 persons who survived COVID-19, putting total recoveries at 399,005. DMS
