DOH reports 2,261 new COVID-19 cases; 14 labs unable to submit data

The Department of Health (DOH) said Thursday new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases reached 2,261 with 14 laboratories unable to submit data.
Total COVID-19 cases reached 348, 698 of which 48,040 are active. Out of the active cases, 84.6 percent are mild, asymptomatic 10.7 percent, critical 3.2 percent and severe 1.6 percent.
Fifty persons died from COVID-19, placing total deaths at 6,497.
There were 385 persons who survived COVID-19, which raised total recoveries to 294, 161. DMS
