DOH reports 2,611 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health (DOH) on Friday reported 2,611 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, which brought the total to 316, 678.
Active cases reached 56, 445 of which 87 percent were mild, 8.8 percent asymptomatic, 2.9 percent critical and 1.3 percent severe, the DOH said.
There were 56 persons who died from COVID-19, which brought total deaths to 5,616.
The DOH said 416 persons survived COVID-19, raising total recoveries to 254,617. DMS
