DOH reports 2,825 new COVID-19 cases, 12 labs unable to submit reports

The Department of Health (DOH) said Wednesday new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases reached 2,825, with 12 laboratories not able to submit reports to the COVID-19 Data Repository System on Tuesday.
Total cases reached 329, 637, of which 49, 989 are active. Out of the active cases, 85.9 percent were active, 9.4 percent asymptomatic, critical 3.3 percent and severe 1.5 percent.
Sixty persons died from COVID-19, bringing the total to 5,926, DOH said. Twenty-three deaths took place in the National Capital Region.
The DOH said 437 persons recovered from COVID-19, which raised total recoveries to 273, 723. DMS
