DOH reports 3,375 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday reported 3,375 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases on Thursday, bringing the total to 276,289.
Active cases are at 63, 408 of which 87.5 percent are mild. Critical cases remain at 2.7 percent and severe 1.1 percent, the DOH said.
Of the new cases reported, majority came from the National Capital Region (NCR) with 963, followed by Bulacan 448, Cavite 274, Negros Occidental 153, and Batangas 119.
Fifty-three persons died from COVID-19, raising total fatalities to 4,785.The NCR accounted for 25 of these deaths.
The DOH said 317 patients overcame COVID-19, which placed the total at 208,096. DMS
