DOH reports 4,002 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health (DOH) reported Thursday 4,002 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, bringing the total to 147,000.

Active cases reached 74, 713, of which 91.2 were mild, the DOH said.

The National Capital Region accounted for 2,415 of the new cases.

There were 1,403 patients who recovered from COVID-19, placing total recoveries at 70, 387.

Twenty three persons died from COVID-19, with ten from NCR. Total fatalities are at 2, 426. DMS
