DOH reports 661 COVID-19 cases, total now 28,459

The Department of Health (DOH) said Friday there were 661 new COVID-19 cases, driven by 460 fresh cases, of which 277 came from the National Capitol Region (NCR).
Total number of COVID-19 cases are now 28,459. The DOH said 201 were late cases.
More patients continued to bounce back from the COVID-19 cases as recoveries came in past the 200-mark for the ninth day. Recoveries are at 288
Fourteen deaths from COVID-19 patients were reported, raising the total to 1,130.
This brings to 1,130 the total number of COVID-19 fatalities in the Philippines. DMS
