DOH reports lesser new COVID-19 cases

Lesser coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases were reported by the Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday after a two-month high of 2,163 the previous day.
There were 1,357 new cases, pushing the total to 504,084. Active cases reached 27,857.
Davao City posted the highest number of new cases for the third day with 130. Second was Rizal Province, with 71 followed by Quezon City, 66.
Fourth was Pampanga, 54 and Benguet, 52.
Sixty nine persons died from COVID-19, which placed total deaths to 9,978.
Three hundred and twenty four persons got well from COVID-19, putting total recoveries at 466, 249. DMS
