DOH watching COVID-19 situation in Davao City

The Department of Health (DOH) is watching the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) situation in Davao City as cases are rising.
"The rise in Davao City is continuous as of this time... Transmission in these areas were identified in communities and closed settings," said the DOH in a statement on Thursday.
On Thursday, Davao City topped the list of provinces and cities with the most number of new COVID-19 cases with 110 followed by Laguna with 74.
There were 1,337 new COVID-19 cases, which raised the total to 413, 440. Forty-one persons died from COVID-19, bringing the total to 7,998.
DOH said Davao City is at "medium risk" based on average daily attack rate (ADAR) and the 2-week growth rate (2WGR).
The DOH said Davao City’s critical care utilization rate is at 72 percent, as of the latest report. DMS
