Domagoso locks down 31 barangays from July 4 to 5
July 1, 2020
Manila City Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso will place 31 barangays under a 48-hour hard lockdown.
Domagoso signed Executive Order No. 31 Tuesday implementing an enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in these barangays for purposes of disease surveillance, rapid risk assessment and testing operations “as the city’s response measures to the imminent danger posed by COVID-19."
He issued the executive order upon the verification of the Manila Health Department (MHD) that the barangays concerned recorded more than three COVID19 positive cases from June 15-29.
The order will take effect from 12 am, July 4 until 11:59 pm, July 5.
