Drug suspect arrested in Zamboanga City

Authorities arrested a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in Zamboanga City on Tuesday night, a Philippine Air Force spokesman said Wednesday.

Major Aristides Galang Jr., Philippine Air Force spokesman, said the arrested suspect as Robin Lacanares alias Gov.

Galang said "the PAF Intelligence Operatives under Field Station Western Mindanao (lead unit) together with the Drug Enforcement Unit, PNP Station 7 Sta. Maria, conducted a drug buy-bust operation in Brgy. Cabatangan, Zamboanga City."

He said government forces confiscated two medium and four small-sized plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P 10,000 from the   suspect.

Galang said the suspect was brought to the nearest police station for proper disposition. Robina Asido/DMS
