Duterte appoints ex-Pangasinan congresswoman to head MTRCB

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed a former congresswoman as the new head of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
In an appointment paper on January 20, Duterte named Ma. Rachel J. Arenas as the new MRTCB chairperson, replacing Eugenio H. Villareal.
Arenas' term will expire on September 30, 2017.
Arenas was a representative of the 3rd District of Pangasinan.
According to her official blog, Arenas is a product of the De La Salle University where she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree major in Political Science and minor in Japan Studies. Celerina Monte/DMS
