Duterte appoints new transport officials

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed a new undersecretary of the Department of Transportation and a new general manager of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3.
Duterte named DOTr Assistant Secretary Cesar Chavez as the department's new undersecretary, replacing Noel Eli B. Kintanar.
The appointment was made on February 28.
In a separate appointment paper dated February 24, Duterte appointed Rodolfo Jazmines Garcia as the new general manager of MRT-3.
According to Chavez, Garcia was director for operations of MRT-3 during the Arroyo administration. Celerina Monte/DMS
