Duterte asks public traffic in Edsa may ease by December

President Rodrigo Duterte on Saturday told the public to wait a bit more as traffic will start to ease soon.
In an interview in Davao City, Duterte said travel time between Cubao to Makati on Edsa could be possibly reduced to five minutes.
"You just wait. I don’t want to preempt). Things will improve. Maybe God willing by December it will be smooth sailing," he said.
"You don't have to worry about traffic. Cubao and Makati will just be about 5 minutes," he added.
The Department of Public Works and Highways said they are looking into construct more road networks including bridges, flyovers among others, to relieve motorists and commuters of traffic woes.
Duterte called DPWH Secretary Mark Villar “spectacular”.
