Duterte declares Marawi liberated

President Rodrigo Duterte declared that Marawi City, which has been under siege by the Maute-Abu Sayyaf group for nearly five months, has been liberated.
"Ladies and gentlemen I hereby declare Marawi City is liberated from the terroristic influence," said Duterte before government troopsn in Marawi, ANC reported.
On Monday, the Philippine government said the two leaders of the local terrorist group holed up in Marawi, Isnilon Hapilon and Omar Maute, have been killed in a military operation. DMS
