President Rodrigo Duterte is eyeing to get more cheaper medicines from India.

"We want to discuss trade relations further and especially, the most important one is that… and I’m happy that you’re here because of we can’t find the medicines, and you have it, " Duterte said.
Duterte added he is interested in Indian medicines because it is cheaper than American brands.
"I’m more interested, really, in the medicines because we are a poor country, but you know how it is with America," he said.
He told Modi that the Philippines will be happy if an investor from India would be interested to venture in this field in the country.
"And we might invite you to take a visit to the Philippines and some of the guys who maybe would want to invest there," he said.
He said he might send some of his cabinet members to India.
