Duterte names chair of anti-corruption commission

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption founding chairperson Dante Jimenez as chairman of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC).
He also named Gregorio Luis C. Contacto III, Rickson L. Chiong, and former Manila councilor Greco Belgica as PACC commissioners. Their appointment papers were signed on January 12.
Duterte issued Executive Order No.43, creating PACC on October 4.
The commission is mandated “to directly assist the President in investigating and/or hearing administrative cases primarily involving graft and or corruption against all presidential appointees.” Celerina Monte/DMS
