Duterte need not present proof for tagging Naga as shabu hotbed
August 21, 2018
President Rodrigo Duterte does not need to present any proof for tagging Naga City as a "hotbed of shabu," Malacanang said on Monday.
This was after the city of Naga came out with a resolution of indignation condemning Duterte's recent statement calling the city, the home city of Vice President Leni Robredo, as the hotbed of shabu.
Robredo also condemned Duterte's statement.
Asked if Duterte would present any proof that Naga was a hotbed of shabu, Roque said, "the President doesn't have to do that."
He said that Duterte has access to all available information.
"I think if he's wrong, he will apologize. Until he does, he stands by it," Roque added. Celerina Monte/DMS
