President Rodrigo Duterte has reappointed five special envoys to China.
In the new set of presidential appointees released by Malacanang on Thursday, President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Fernando Selim Borja, Cheng Yong, Wallie Lee, Carlos Chan and William Lima.
Their appointment papers were all signed on January 3 and for a period of six months until June 30.
When Duterte assumed office in 2016, he decided to take a friendly stance with China despite the territorial row in South China Sea.
He has visited Beijing twice since he became president.
