Duterte still in meeting gov’t officials

President Rodrigo Duterte is still meeting concerned government agencies regarding the administration's actions amid the coronavirus disease pandemic, his spokesperson said.

Duterte was initially scheduled to deliver a televised message by 4pm today.

"We wish to advise the public that the President is still in a meeting with concerned agencies and is currently coordinating with them relative to the response measures being undertaken by the government to address the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) situation in the country," Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said.

He said proper announcement as to the time of the President's message shall be made after the meeting. Celerina Monte/DMS
