Duterte to limit State of the Nation Address
May 8, 2018
President Rodrigo Duterte will reiterate his campaign against corruption during his third State of the Nation Address in July.
In a press briefing on Tuesday, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said Duterte will limit his upcoming SONA, which in the past took for over an hour.
"There will be a new format and what will happen in SONA, it will be limited to what the President really wants to tell to the people," he said.
Roque said the administration's achievements would be discussed in another forum.
In the SONA, Roque said Duterte is expected to reiterate his campaign against corruption.
"The campaign will be non-stop and will not fade," he said.
