Filipina domestic worker dies in fall in Saudi Arabia

A Filipina domestic worker died due to injuries after she fell from the sixth-floor flat of her employer in Saudi Arabia on Friday, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Saturday.
Consul General Edgar Badajos of the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah said authorities are still investigating the death of the Filipina domestic helper which took place on Friday afternoon in the Holy City of Madinah.
The Filipina, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was brought to the hospital at around 3:30 pm but died shortly from head injuries.
Badajos sent a team from the Consulate General which will coordinate with authorities investigating the case. DMS
