Four Chinese rescued from cargo ship in Northern Samar: police

Four Chinese were rescued while five foreigners were still being rescued by police and Coast Guard after a cargo vessel docked in an emergency around 300 meters away from the shoreline at the vicinity of Barangay Dos, Pambujan, Northern Samar.
In a police report, it said the four Chinese were at the residence of the town mayor.
The cargo vessel Jin Ming, with nine passengers on board, docked at the shoreline due to bad weather around Tuesday noon, the Pambujan Municipal Police station said.
The passengers, who were also composed of two Taiwanese and two Hong Kong nationals, requested the municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office of Pambujan and Northern Samar Coast Guard for evacuation. DMS
