Gamboa reshuffles top PNP posts

The head of the Philippine National Police- Directorate for Information and Communications Technology Management is the new Chief of the Directorial Staff.
Major General Cesar Hawthorne Binag is now the PNP’s fourth in command replacing Lieutenant General Guillermo Eleazar who was appointed as the new deputy chief for operations.
According to Philippine National Police spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Bernard Banac, Binag is a member of Philippine Military Academy Class of 1987.
In an earlier statement, Banac said PNP chief, Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa, reorganized the PNP Command Group after he assumed his post on Monday.
In a special order dated January 19, Police Lieutenant General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan is designated second in command as deputy chief for administration, while Eleazar is third in command as deputy chief for operations.
“PNP chief, Police General Gamboa said the latest round of reshuffle is part of the reformation of the organization based on the evaluation of their efficiency of performance,” Banac said. Ella Dionisio/DMS
