All establishments, including government and private, and public transportation units will be required to adopt the Safety Seal Certification Program, Malacanang said on Friday.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, in a statement, said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases adopted the recommendations of the Office of the Cabinet Secretariat the implementation of the Safety Seal in addition to StaySafe.ph.
"All establishments, such as government offices, private companies, hotels and business establishments and public transportation units are thus required to adopt the Safety Seal," he said.
With this, Roque, who is also the IATF spokesman, said the task force directed the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Health, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Interior and Local Government, Department of Tourism, and the Department of Transportation to issue the necessary joint memorandum circular to detail the requirements to secure a Safety Seal which include the adoption of the Stay Safe application and the generation of its QR Code to be displayed in all entrances.
The StaySafe.ph is the government's official contact tracing up for coronavirus disease cases. Celerina Monte/DMS
