Gov’t raises hospital bed capacity for COVID-19 patients

The Philippine government raised bed capacity in government hospitals from 30 percent to 50 percent for COVID-19 patients.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, in a taped nationwide address Thursday night but which was shown on Friday, made this announcement as health officials earlier said that rooms for COVID-19 in hospitals are close to being overwhelmed. DMS
