Japanese found dead in Cavite, police say no foul play

A 71- year old Japanese was found dead inside his home in Silang, Cavite last Monday evening.

In a report from Silang Municipal Police Station, they said the Japanese was was found dead inside Estrella Apartment in Barangay San Miguel 2, Silang, Cavite around 7 pm.

Authorities went to his place after someone sought their help after they were not able to see the Japanese male for several days.

“Elements of this office proceeded to the place and saw the lifeless body of the victim... lying on his back without lower garments inside his room,” the report said.

According to the person who approached police, the victim was suffering from heart ailment and hypertension.

According to the police, no signs of foul play or crime were observed to be committed. ''It is believed that the victim died of natural death,” it said. Ella Dionisio/DMS
