Japanese held for possessing suspected shabu

Cebu City- Anti-illegal drug operatives and hotel security guards arrested a 39-year old Japanese inside his room last on Tuesday upon seeing he is keeping a pack of suspected shabu.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives and house security, pretended as room cleaners, to gain entry on Atsushi Tozawa’s room, and when they saw him with illegal drug they handcuffed him.
The operation was done inside a hotel in Barangay Sta Cruz .
A PDEA intelligence officer, who requested anonymity for security reasons, said they recovered suspected shabu weighing 5 grams, with a street value of P75,000 at P15,000 per gram, shabu sniffing paraphernalia such as improvised tooter, tinfoil, lighter, four syringes and ATM cards.
Tozawa is at PDEA detention cell, as charges of illegal possession of drugs, illegal possession of drug paraphernalia are being readied against him. DMS
