The Bureau of Immigration (BI) confirmed Marilou Danley, alleged live-in partner of Las Vegas mass shooting gunman Stephen Paddock, is now in the custody of US authorities.
Maria Antonette Mangrobang, BI spokesperson, said the the 62-year-old Danley boarded Philippine Airlines flight PR 102 from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport bound for Los Angeles, California.
She was fetched at the Los Angeles airport by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) authorities.
Mangrobang said Danley, an Australian citizen, arrived in Manila from Hong Kong last Sept. 25.
She previously arrived in the Philippines from Japan last Sept. 15 and left for Hong Kong on Sept. 22 before returning to the Philippines three days later.
Mangrobang added the BI had sent Danley’s travel records to the Department of Homeland Security and FBI which both sought the help of the bureau to find her.
Las Vegas police had earlier ruled out Danley as a suspect in the mass shooting although she was earlier tagged as a person of interest in the shooting last Sunday which killed at least 50 persons in Las Vegas. DMS
