April 1, 2020
Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana tested negative for the 2019 coronavirus disease ( COVID-19) but will continue his self quarantine until the end of this week.
"Guys, my test came out today. I am negative of the COVID virus," Lorenzana said in a message to reporters on Tuesday night.
"On the advice of the doctor I will complete my quarantine until April 6," he added.
''But I urge you to pray for (Interior) Sec. (Eduardo) Ano who tested positive,'' added Lorenzana.
Ano said Tuesday night he tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
It can be recalled that Lorenzana placed himself under quarantine last March 27 after Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Felimon Santos Jr was tested positive for the virus. Robina Asido/DMS
