Manila judge shot dead inside her office

A judge was shot inside her office at Branch 45 of the Manila Regional Trial Court on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The Manila Police District (MPD) said the incident transpired around 2:45 pm. Amador Rebato, the clerk of court, and the victim, Judge Ma. Theresa Abadlla, were inside the room when witnesses heard a gunshot.

A responder rushed Abadilla to the Manila Medical Center but she was pronounced dead by the attending physician around 3:15pm.

 Rebato was found dead inside the judge's office.
