Member of carnapping group killed in Manila

A suspected member of a carnapping group was killed while three others were arrested in an armed encounter with police in Manila early Tuesday morning.
A report said the Manila Police District (MPD) and the Philippine National Police- Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) conducted an operation against the group around 3:30am in Malate.
The operation resulted in an armed encounter which killed one of the suspects, identified as Ali Asgar Baraguel, 29 and the arrest of three other members.
Recovered were one Toyota Vios, one Ford Raptor, undetermined amount of cash and one firearm. Ella Dionisio/DMS
