Military-police team arrest one suspect, recover guns and explosives in Sultan Kudarat

A joint military and police team arrested one suspect and recovered some war materials in a law enforcement operation in Sultan Kudarat last Wednesday.
Capt. Arvin Encinas, Army’s 6th Infantry Division spokesman, identified the arrested suspect as Danny Sinsaw Billedo.
Ensinas said the troops of Marine Battalion Landing Team-2 of the Joint Task Force “Central” and Kalamansig municipal police station served the search warrant against a certain Billedo and six others at the vicinity of Sitio Liyong, Brgy Hinalaan, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.
He said government forces also seized one shotgun and two improvised explosive device (IED) were seized from his procession.
Encinas said the suspect who was placed under the custody of the police will be charged for illegal possession of firearms.
“The suspect will be charged with illegal possession of firearm under Republic Act 10591 or Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition,” he said. Robina Asido/DMS
