MMDA reports five Metro Manila streets in gutter-deep water

The Metro Manila Development Authority reported five flooded areas on Tuesday afternoon in Metro Manila due to heavy rains brought by tropical depression Maring.

MMDA Metro Base said there is gutter deep flood along south bound of Ortigas Avenue, north bound of EDSA Santolan, both sides of the P. Tuazon tunnel and Aurora tunnel, and EDSA Corinthian.

There is 37-inch flood in Rizal Avenue, R. Papa which is not passable to all types of vehicles, a personnel of MMDA Metro Base  said.

He said there are no reported stranded passengers but the MMDA are giving free rides along EDSA. Alanna Ambi/DMS
