MMDA shuts down two bus terminals without business permit

The Metro Manila Development Authority shut down two bus terminals without business permit in Pasay City on Wednesday.
MMDA chairman Danilo Lim led the closure of Bragais and St. Jude bus terminals at 11:00 am, the MMDA said in a statement.
The Roro Bus Line , Superlines and Dimples Star bus terminals along EDSA in Quezon City were closed down on July 19 for violating the nose-in, nose-out policy.
MMDA chief of staff Jojo Garcia said in a press conference on July 18 buses entering terminals with small spaces move backwards after entering the terminal and they get three lanes of the road which cause traffic.
He said the buses must be able to maneuver inside their terminal to avoid "major traffic". Alanna Ambi/DMS
