More than 20 arrested in baptism reception inside Manila North Cemetery

More than 20 attendees of a baptism reception were apprehended in Manila on Saturday night.
Based on the initial report, a total of 22 individuals were arrested while attending a baptism reception held inside the Manila North Cemetery in Sta Cruz around 8:30 pm.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD), attendees were apprehended for violation of City Ordinance No. 5555 or drinking intoxicating liquor in public places.
Personnel of the Blumentritt Police Community Precinct were conducting patrol when they saw and apprehended the violators who were having a drinking session inside the cemetery.
Police recovered the plastic cups and three bottles of liquor from the apprehended violators.
