More than P47 million worth of illegal drugs seized from four suspects in Batangas

More than P 47 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated from four suspects in a buy bust operation in Sto. Tomas, Batangas last Wednesday.

Thw Batangas Provincial Police Office said operatives from the Batangas police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted the operation in a parking lot beside a bank along Pan Pacific Highway around 11 a.m.

The operation resulted to the arrest of four suspects and confiscated from them were seven kilos of suspected shabu amounting to P47, 600,000 and their vehicle.

Police said they would be facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. Ella Dionisio/DMS
