Mynah birds, blue-naped parrots confiscated by authorities in Palawan

Authorities early Wednesday morning confiscated 76 mynah birds, 125 blue-naped parrots and an unidentified species at Barangay Quinlogan, Quezon, Palawan.
The alleged caretaker, named Joseph a.k.a "langgo" Quintayo, escaped and abandoned his five-year-old child. The child was turned over to Quezon's social work office
A complaint for possessing endangered species will be filed against Quintayo, according to John Vincent Fabello, Palawan Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD) spokesman.
The operation was conducted by joint elements of PCSD, Bantay Palawan Task Force, and Quezon police. DMS
