Navy reservist shot dead in Negros Oriental

A 40-year old Philippine Navy reservist was shot dead by four unidentified riding-in-tandem suspects in Siaton, Negros Oriental last Monday afternoon.
Negros Oriental provincial police said Roger Alibiado and his live-in partner were onboard their motorcycle going to Barangay Casala-an around 2pm when suspects shot him in the head in Barangay Datag.
Alibiado fell from his motorcycle and was thrown more or less six meters away from the concrete road.
Police said the suspects fled.
The victim was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician while his partner is recuperating. Ella Dionisio/DMS
