Navy ship starts sea sub-phase of ASEAN-China drill

ZHANJIANG, China – The Philippine Navy’s BRP Dagupan City, with seven participating ships from the host country and ASEAN member countries, started the sea sub-phase of the ASEAN-China Maritime Exercise (ACMEX) 2018.
This exercise aims to execute all plans drafted, deliberated and finalized to test seamless communications among multilateral force partners conducting various scenarios such as communications drills, ship group formations, the Philippine Navy said in a statement.
Each of the scenarios shall be led by different participating countries. BRP Dagupan City is tasked to spearhead the replenishment-at-sea scenario. DMS
