NDRRMC to receive water treatment unit from Hungarian firm

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councilor (NDRRMC) is set to a receive water treatment unit donated by the Hungarian Water Technology Corp. in a ceremony in Quezon City on Friday.
The ceremony will be held at Delsa warehouse in Camp Aguinaldo of Friday morning.
Hungarian Ambassador József Bencze, and Vice Consul Gabor Lehocz. in behalf of Hungarian Water Technology Corp., will turn over the donation to Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, also NDRRMC chairperson..
According to the NDRRMC, the secretaries of the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Health, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Foreign Affairs, and Armed Forces of the Philippines chief of staff are invited to attend the ceremony.
"The event is the result of the project titled 'Delivery of a mobile water treatment compact unit to supply drinking water to the population during emergency situations and natural disasters in the Philippines'," the NDRRMC said. Robina Asido/DMS
