New coronavirus disease cases reach 2,006

New coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases reached 2,006 even as 13 laboratories were unable to submit data, the Department of Health (DOH) said Friday.
Total cases are 378, 933 of which 41, 291 are active. Of the active cases, 83.3 percent are mild, 11.1 asymptomatic, 3.6 percent critical and two percent severe.
Provinces and cities which registered the most COVID-19 cases were led by Batangas 124, Cavite 121, Quezon City 105, Rizal 89 and Bulacan 81.
Thirty-eight persons died from COVID-19, which raised total deaths to 7,185, the DOH said.
There were 636 persons who got well from COVID-19, bringing total recoveries to 330, 457. DMS
